Off to explore the jungle

We´re off tomorrow for six days trekking to the ciudad perdida (lost city) near the Caribbean coast. But it´s not really that lost, as our guides seem pretty confident about where to find it. Five nights of hammocks and days of crossing rivers, walking past indigenous villages and scrambling up hillsides. Should be lots of fun. Back on the 4th (probably to a welcome shower and bed!).

    You sound as if you are having a terrific time! How I wish I was young and mobile enough to do such adventures!
    Had a great time today with your mother, drinking coffee, wandering around Spittalfields and Brick Lane, eating and more wandering. Enjoyed the discovery of all the vintage shops. We both made several purchases!!
    Have you heared that Melanie is pregnant? Baby due around 23rd July and Karen's around 4th June. It is going to be an exciting summer.
